Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), the research wing of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide, is situated within the sacred precincts of "Adi Shankara Nilayam" in Kerala, India. Adi Shankara Nilayam is the maternal ancestral home of the world-renowned Advaita Vedantin, Adi Shankaracharya.
Adi Shankara Nilayam has numerous sacred shrines and temples that are some of the most ancient in Kerala. CIF is pleased to announce that the Adi Shankara Nilayam temples are now open to accept and perform the puja offerings/requests of all devotees worldwide.
The ancient temples at Adi Shankara Nilayam include temples for Lord Ayyapa, Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesha, Lord Vettakorumakan, Devi Nagayakshi, and Devi Bhagavati, which were worshipped by Adi Shankara and his mother, Aryamba in the days of yore.
